Fire Service Exploring is a worksite-based program for young men and women who have completed the eighth grade and are between the ages of 14 and 21.

Fire Service Explorer posts help youth gain insight into a variety of programs that offer hands-on career activities. For young men and women who are interested in careers in the field of fire service, Exploring offers experiential learning with lots of fun-filled, hands-on activities that promote the growth and development of adolescent youth.

The Mukwonago Fire Department provides an in depth curriculum of the fire service. We provide the explorers with all the tools necessary to help them developed as firefighters and EMT's. The explorers meet twice a month, usually on a Monday night. If you are interested in joining the Mukwonago Fire Department Explorer's program, please contact the Mukwonago Fire Department at 262-363-6426.
